At Haws we believe in doing our bit to help restore the trees and forests that are so crucial to the health of our planet. That’s why we’ve partnered with the organisation TreeSisters.
TreeSisters invites everyone to do as much radical good as they can for the planet. They fund the restoration of environments, biodiversity and communities in more than ten major ecosystems around the global tropics, through a diverse portfolio of vetted, trusted reforestation projects. Their global network is transforming lives and landscapes in extraordinary ways, with unique global programmes encouraging women's leadership, nature-connection, and shifting behaviours from consumption to restoration. Working together, we aim to make ecological restoration the new norm.
One Million Trees by 2025
As a small independent company, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the challenges facing our planet. After all, what difference can one small company make? The simple truth is that the way we all live is consuming resources faster than they are being restored. But at Haws we believe that collectively we can all positively change our behaviour and mindset, from consumption to restoration.
We hope to inspire the whole Haws ecosystem, from our craftswomen and men, to our suppliers and our community of growers. As we consume, we can restore; and as a community of individuals and businesses, together we will make change happen. Our first road mark is to plant one million trees by 2025.
