The Bearwood Brook - One Gallon

The Bearwood Brook – One Gallon is our refined take on the traditional watering can shape, handmade in our Birmingham workshop with the same craftsmanship as our heritage Warley Fall models. Its shorter close-reach spout delivers a generous flow, making it ideal for quickly refreshing thirsty plants or working efficiently in tighter spaces.

The wide-diameter ferrule is fitted with our General Purpose Rose – an all brass, coarse-spray rose with a large face. This produces the classic forward-flowing spray pattern gardeners expect from a traditional can: even, generous, and perfectly suited to established plants, vegetable rows, and open beds.

Built from 0.5mm pre-galvanised steel under our Haws Protection System, each can is hand-soldered, triple-sealed – including aerospace-grade sealant – and finished with a durable powder coat in Haws Green or Graphite. The result is exceptional corrosion resistance, long-lasting colour, and a finish ready to withstand years of outdoor use.

With its one-gallon (4.5 litre) capacity, the Bearwood Brook offers the same balance and precision as the larger model but in a lighter, more manageable size – perfect for patios, courtyards, balconies, greenhouses, and smaller gardens where frequent, lighter watering is preferable. The curved back handle pivots smoothly for precise pouring, whether you’re using the rose for a broad spray or removing it for direct root watering.

Each can is presented in a bespoke, fully recyclable outdoor gift box, with the rose tucked safely beneath the handle for protection in transit. Over time, the all-brass rose will mellow to a warm patina unless polished to maintain its shine.
