This Brass Growing Set pairs our heritage Warley Fall – One Gallon with five interchangeable all-brass rose heads and a downspout, creating a complete watering system for every stage of plant growth. From nurturing delicate seedlings to maintaining established borders, it brings together timeless craftsmanship with versatility, comfort, and control.

At the heart of the set is the Warley Fall – One Gallon, the classic painted steel version of John Haws’ 1886 design, still handmade in our Birmingham workshop more than 140 years later. Its iconic long spout generates the pressure that powers the rose, producing a smooth, even spray from start to finish. Balanced and comfortable, the angled cross stay doubles as a forward handle, while the curved back handle pivots naturally in the hand for precise control.

The attachment system includes five precision-engineered brass roses: two Extra Fine Spray roses (oval and round) for seed trays and young plants; a Fine Spray Round Rose for pots and foliage; a Fine Spray High Flow Oval Rose for efficient coverage of larger areas; and an Extra Coarse Round Rose for mature plantings, dry soils, or use with rainwater. For targeted root-zone watering, the supplied Plastic Downspout replaces the rose to deliver water directly to the soil surface.

Each accessory connects securely to the can’s brass ferrule, ensuring full compatibility with the Haws brass rose range. Presented in a bespoke, fully recyclable outdoor gift box, the Brass Growing Set is engineered for strength, balance, and long-term use – a heritage tool refined for modern gardening.
