The Hockley Heritage HDG – (Galvanised, 2 Gallon)
A much-loved classic, reimagined for the modern gardener.
Back by popular demand after a five-year hiatus, the Hockley Heritage HDG watering can returns with fresh updates while staying true to its roots. Originally designed by David Pennock in the early 2000s, this design embodies Haws tradition—from tooling made in our own workshop to the final hand-assembled details at our West Midlands factory.
This traditional dousing can, reminiscent of the much-loved “Peter Rabbit” style, is perfect for generous watering sessions. Its distinctive pressed lattice pattern is more than decorative: formed with over 80 tons of pressure, it reinforces the body for decades of service in your garden.
Now featuring a curved steel rear handle for improved comfort and control, paired with the original hand-shaped wooden top handle for a classic touch. Its close-reach spout and General Purpose coarse spray rose deliver a swift, even flow—ideal for watering borders, beds, and established plants with ease.
Each watering can is crafted and hot-dip galvanised by our skilled partners in Slovakia, before being finished by hand at our West Midlands factory, where we add our signature Haws details.
A robust, practical choice with roots in British garden tradition—reborn for today’s gardener.
